Goodbye Industronics Automation SB...

29 February 2008

29 Feb 08 was my last day in Industronics Automation Sdn. Bhd. It's been almost 2.5 years since I joined this company, which was also my first formal job in the technology world.

I've been working closely with my superior - Mr. Teh all these years, who has not only helped me a lot, but also being my mentor giving me a lot of supports and guidances when I needed one. I would like to take this opportunity to thanks him for everything he has done for me. Besides him, other colleagues have also helped me a lot during my employment in Industronics, especially Ahmad Zahiruddin & Haniza. Not to forget our account cum admin assistant, Winnie Teo, and the rest of the team including SK Nah, Fadzil, Ila, Muhaimin, Susan Tai, Edwin Gan, Janice and those who already left the company like Mahendren and KC Lim.

During my last day in the company, there was a small farewell party held in the office pantry. They have ordered a Malay-style food called Nasi Hujan Panas, which was quite special because the rice was so colourful. It was my first time seeing such rice, so did most of the Chinese staffs in the company.

After the meal, I managed to take photos of everybody together with their work stations. There was a lot of fun when a 5 continuous photo shooting function was introduced to them. The responses were very spontaneous and lively. On the day itself, I was called by the big boss, Edwin Gan to have a little chit-chat in the room. He has also surprised me by giving me a new tie as a farewell gift. Although I personally think the colour of the tie was a little old-fashioned, but I still want to thanks him for this present.

Toward the end of the day, I started to feel a little miserable as I would be leaving the place very soon. I would no longer working in this company and not seeing the same faces again. Thinking of a new work environment, it further worried me because it's been quite some time since I changed my work environment.

I finished most of my last moments in the company taking photo with my soon-to-be ex-colleagues and editing some of the photos for memory.
