From Dana Point to Newport Beach

1.15pm --Dana Point Harbor--

It was a beautiful afternoon at Dana Point. It was a little foggy around the harbor, but it didn't stop people from doing their daily activity at the harbor. I could see people just walking around the harbor, jogging with their dog, preparing to go out for whale watching... Life was so easy here.

We went for a walk around the harbor, taking some photos, walked across the bridge to the other side of the harbor where the beach is. Unfortunately it was so foggy that we couldn't see anything at all.

2.30pm --Main Beach, Laguna--

We went up north along highway 1 and reached Main Beach, Laguna which was about 15 min away. It was another lovely small town where people live in peace and life was so easy. The main beach stretches about 1.5 KM but only a small portion of the beach was open from the road side. The rest of the beach was mainly located at the back part of the shop row.

4.15pm --Balboa Island--
We managed to make a stop at Balboa Island, home of Rocky Balboa, just kidding...


5.00pm --New Port Beach--
The final stop of the way was at New Port Beach which was about 5 min away from Balboa Island. There was a pier at this beach where many people went for fishing. The beach was calm and relaxing. Maybe it was still in the winter and almost sunset at that hour, not many people were staying around the beach. We toook some photos at the beach and also at the setting sun, it was so beautiful. At last, we head home after visiting almost all the famous beaches along highway 1...
